Membership Year
DAQAA memberships are valid for one calendar year, beginning January 1 and expiring December 31.
DAQAA allows for open enrollment throughout the year and memberships can be purchased at any time. However, all DAQAA memberships will expire in December of the year for which they were purchased. The only exception is for new and returning lapsed memberships paid during the months of October, November, or December. Memberships paid during these months will not expire until December of the following year.
Membership Types
DAQAA offers two types of memberships: Corporate or Individual
Individual Memberships are non-transferrable and “owned” by one individual. This individual has full voting rights.
Corporate memberships are purchased by a company, or any part of a company, for that company’s employees. The following rules apply for a corporate membership:
Corporate memberships must have one primary contact identified. This contact should be authorized to determine which individuals within their company have membership access. There may be a secondary contact listed for a company, who can be contacted if the primary contact is unavailable.
Corporate memberships can be transferred to another individual within the company at any time. This must be done by the authorized primary or secondary company contact notifying the DAQAA membership committee.
Each corporate membership is allowed full voting privileges.
Only corporate members identified by the corporate contact may attend meetings. Substitutions are not allowed at the time of the meeting. Substitutions may only be made by that corporate contact as indicated above.At the time of voting, proxies will be sent out to the individuals listed as of October 1st of that year. If a corporate membership does not have an individual name associated with it, the voting proxy will be sent to the primary Corporate contact for completion.
Membership Dues
Dues are $25/year for either individual or corporate members.
If dues are paid on or after June 1st, the dues will be $12.50 for the remaining calendar year.
Guest Fee is $5.00 for visiting non-member attendees of DAQAA meetings. Guests do not vote.
Membership Lists
To promote networking, all members will receive the complete membership list, including contact information.
Members who wish to NOT have their name, work information, and/or e-mail published may indicate their desire on the application or renewal forms. They may also send an email to the membership committee at any time. Requests for changes and exclusions will be honored the next time that the membership list is published. Membership lists will contain Name, Company, Job Title, Work Address, Work Phone, and e-mail address. Home or private information will never be shared with the general membership without written consent of the member.
